Completed this student project my sophomore year at RIT. There were two parts to this project. First, choose a musician or group and design a logo that captures they’re style of music. Then design CD packaging for one of their albums and incorporate the logo into the final layout.
I chose the hardcore punk band Los Crudos to design a mark around. There music was fast, abrasive, politically charged punk rock sung in Spanish. The packaging is printed on newsprint with lyrics in both Spanish and English. Keeping with DIY aesthetics I kept most of the CD insert’s construction handmade with the exception of the logo.
